A glimpse into the Black Lives Matter march in Bristol, England on June 7th 2020. Thousands of people gathered at College Green to make a stand against the death of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minnesota, and the continued institutionalised oppression and dehumanization of black people. The march culminated with the felling of the statue of Edward Colston, a 17th century slave trader, which was subsequently dragged along the Harbourside and tossed into the river. Sadly I missed the toppling of the statue. Google it.
